C.O.L.O.R.S is een instrumentaal album dat werd opgebouwd rond het geluid van de akoestische mandoline en waarvoor Andries Boone inspiratie haalde bij hedendaagse bigbands, barokmuziek en filmcomponisten als Henry Mancini en Lalo Schifrin.
Alle titels zijn geïnspireerd op de industriële poëzie van de Leuvense artiest Peter Van Eyck, die kleuren die hij waarneemt verbindt met kleurnamen die autofabrikanten gebruiken.
