Het debuutalbum van de Barnill Brothers’ is het resultaat van de ontmoeting met singer-songwriter Douglas Firs, die het album producete, hand in hand met geluidsman Jan Chantrain (Balthazar, Gabriel Rios).
Nieuwe klankkleuren werden toegevoegd, dankzij de bijdrage van geprezen muzikanten zoals de Amerikaanse violiste en singer-songwriter Laura Cortese.
‘A Better Place’ is geschreven door twee dertigers die bezorgd zijn om de onzekerheden van deze tijden, verlangend naar een beter leven en een diepe hap zuivere lucht.
