Paris Texas

Paris Texas is an acoustic quintet from Antwerp, Belgium, that has been making their own music since 2018, drawing influences from Americana, country music, and bluegrass. Their songs are known for their catchiness and melodies, driven by a solid groove, impressive picking, and refined harmonies that take their tracks to new heights.

In 2019, Paris Texas released their debut album ‘When You’re Gone' and performed in Belgium and beyond, including the Omagh Bluegrass Festival in Northern Ireland and the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival. The album even ranked 56th among the top 70 non-Italian albums by Folknights Italy of Radio Cernusco Stereo.

During the pandemic, the band remained creative and used the time to write new songs. In the spring of 2022, Paris Texas hit the studio to record their second album, ‘Bird In Hand.' It's a collection of acoustic originals that explore themes of transience and coming of age. They had some talented musicians join them on the album, including Tijl Piryns on drums, Bart Vervaeck on pedal steel, and Laura Cortese on fiddle.

With their energetic live performances and unique blend of Belgicana, Paris Texas continues their path to success.
